Guptill's Ice Cream - Cohoes

We eagerly anticipate the reopening of Guptill's every March and always make sure to visit during their first week back in business. We are big fans of ice cream, especially when it comes from a local shop like Guptill's. They offer delicious hard and soft ice cream options, and their customer service is consistently top-notch. If you find yourself in the Albany area, be sure to stop by Guptill's Ice Cream! Our favorite orders are mine - a scoop of soft Black Raspberry ice cream topped with chocolate sprinkles, and my boyfriend's choice - Coffee ice cream with hot fudge and Oreos.

The restaurant offers a wide variety of soft and hard ice cream options. I tried a cone of soft butterscotch with a chocolate coating, which was delicious. My friends also enjoyed their different flavors of soft serve. The restaurant has ample seating available and remains moderately busy until closing time. One issue we encountered, along with other customers, was that the restaurant closed at 10 pm and removed all the trash cans, leaving us no option but to leave our tissues and trash on the table.

The ice-cream at this restaurant is fantastic, but the real highlight was the roller rink. It's a shame there aren't more places like this around. Watching the well-behaved kids having a blast without their cell phones was a refreshing throwback to simpler times. People of all ages were having a great time, and it brought back happy memories for me. I can't wait to come back with my wife and friends for some more roller fun.

Wow, what a selection. Lots of exciting and different soft serve flavors. We ended up getting a large brownie sundae. It tasted as if the brownies were homemade and we tried the cake batter and chocolate cake twist ice cream with it. Absolutely HUGEportions, family if 4 can share this sundae large size. Big field near all the table to run around and play as well. Ampleparking too, we will be back for sure!

Super great ice cream! The place was backed and we still got our ice cream it what seemed like less than a minute. The young lady who took our order was very nice and welcoming. They have a huge selection of different flavors; especially so manydifferent flavors of soft serves ive never seen before! Can't want to go back snd try other flavors! I love that they offerdairy free options, too! Lots of parking, great location, clean, loved it!
