Spindles On Remsen - Cohoes

When we checked Yelp for a spot to enjoy a glass of wine, we came across Spindles, which is listed as a wine bar. However, it's far from that—it's actually one of the most entertaining dive bars I've visited in years. If I lived in the Albany area, Spindles Wine Bar would definitely be my go-to place.

I dined at this restaurant last Saturday night, and the food was incredibly delicious! They have an excellent wine selection. The atmosphere was cozy, and our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be returning. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

The new chef is amazing! The food has been excellent, and it's a must-try if you're visiting Cohoes.

The drinks were enjoyable and the service was friendly, but unfortunately, the food fell short. The roasted beet salad tasted as if it came from a can or was merely steamed; there was nothing roasted about it. The short rib consisted of a small piece that was mostly fat, accompanied by a heap of fettuccine and roasted vegetables drenched in an overly salty sauce that seemed more like stock than anything homemade. The only highlight on the plate was the roasted vegetables, which did appear to be genuinely roasted. I really wanted to discover a new favorite restaurant, and I hope that some of the other menu items, which sound promising, live up to expectations.

The baked Brie was exquisite ! Husband's short rib was cooked to perfection. My crab stuffed shrimp was amazing!
