What a nice experience. The whole setup is a movie set: waiters with white gloves, while tablecloths, brown wood walls, under lit dining room for an enhanced privacy feeling etc. The service: 5 stars The food: 5 star Drinks: 5 star Price: very decent This restaurant is very much off the beaten track, tucked in a neighborhood, far from the touristic area. It was recommended by the personnel at the hotel. It’s local food cooked with care and love.

Went here for dinner on recommendation from local friends. This is a truly Portuguese restaurant on the first floor of a building, walking distance from the historic city centre. Food was excellent as was the service. The wine list is impressive with exclusively Portuguese wines. I had an excellent monk fish and will come back if back in Coimbra.

Este restaurante é sempre uma opção excelente em Coimbra. Comemos filetes de tamboril com arroz de berbigão e é ótimo (como sempre). A sangria branca estava muito boa! E para terminar não podia faltar o doce da casa! Funcionários super simpáticos! Há 20 anos que somos clientes e continuam a primar pela excelência!
