Nata Lisboa Coimbra

Obviously the main attraction of this establishment, are the delicious Pasteis de Nata. But even if you want to just have a quick bite they have very nice sandwiches. They also have menus where you can choose to incorporate the Pastel de Nata in your entire meal aswell as a coffee. I very much recommend going there if you’re looking for something small to eat.

Great service! The waitress offered us an English menu when she saw that we struggle to understand the Portuguese version. Nice! I like the selection of drinks, which are mainly offered hot drinks. My partner, a coffee lover, ordered a large cup of Americano coffee and was very happy with it. I chose a sardine sandwich with roasted red peppers (Capsicum). The bread was beautifully roasted and dressed with olive oil. It was delicious. I chose a cup of Carioca de limāo, a simple drink of lemon toe in hot water that went well with me.

Beautiful town of Coimbra, great food and greatest meringue I saw in my life.

The freshly squeezed orange juice, was more water than orange. The egg was kind of a plastic thing but anything as an egg. A tourists trap. Do not bother.

Its a long walk up to the university and Nata is perfect place to fuel Up and map the Climb. Could call it Base Camp. Efficient and friendly.
