Cova Funda-espanhol - Coimbra

We were looking for a very local restaurant with typical food and very good price,all this was on the night of serenata , were all the restaurants are Overbooked with large groups. Anyway,we 're arrived there at 7pm,they 're closed and the staff were having dinner,they were very friendly they said they were full but they could get us a wee space after 7.30. We arrived there as discuss and we ordered,the food was very quick and DELICIOUS, bread and butter; a massive mixed of grilled pork, kidney bean rice, chips, salad; massive jug if red wine; orange and a delicious dessert and was just 21€ The only down of the restaurant was the WC wasn 't clean. Overall I recommend this place

Amazing food. We ordered the steak with rice with beans, and codfish. Probably one plate is enough for two people. I recommend it. Typical food the locals eat.

If you're a foodie and crave proper homemade food, this is the place for you. The restaurant is consistently busy, and booking in advance is essential, although they might squeeze you in if you're lucky. We've dined there for lunch and dinner a couple of times, and from starters to desserts, everything was excellent.

Le restaurant est très traditionnel, simple mais de bon niveau . Le personnel est très à l'écoute. Cuisine familiale.

É um restaurante simples com comida típica portuguesa. Pedi uns extras com ovos e, para sobremesa, leite de creme. o amendoim foi saboroso e bom creme de leite ovo. Também tinha vinho da casa. razoável. Os funcionários são simpáticos
