City Limits Grill - Colby

We split a one pound chicken fried steak dinner based on the reviews we read. It was wonderful: huge tender steak, came with two scoops mashed potatoes. White gravy was very tasty. Very Good salad bar and rolls too. Total bill $21.80 and we took home half the steak and mashed potatoes! We recommend this place. Wonderful and friendly staff to boot.

I had a fantastic dining experience while passing through Colby. The salad bar offered a wonderful variety of fresh options. The steak I ordered was cooked to perfection. The only downside was that they removed the ranch dressing from the salad bar and didn't put it back, so I had to enjoy my salad without it. Aside from that, I would definitely come back here again.

Came in for dinner and ordered the Chicken Fried Steak. We also ordered calf fries for an appetizer. My meal came with the soup and salad bar. The calf fries were good, the soup and salad was good, and the chicken fried steak was amazing. Amazing in both size and flavor. It's almost like it was par cooked on a char grill and then fried. Highly recommend coming here.

To start, it’s not the cheapest option out there, but I was thoroughly satisfied. You truly get what you pay for! As a truck driver, it can be challenging to find a nice place to sit down for a meal, but I left feeling very full and quite happy. I ordered the steak along with the soup and salad bar, and everything was delicious, especially the steak and, surprisingly, the soup. The Cream of Asparagus was fantastic! If I hadn’t already eaten so much, I would have gone back for seconds. The steak was cooked to perfection, the beer was just $2, and the bread pudding was excellent. My server, Kaity, was incredibly kind and attentive, making me feel right at home. I definitely overindulged in both food and drink, and my total came to just over $40 before tip, which my server certainly earned and deserved. I’m sure I’ll find myself at the truck stop across the street again, and when I do, I’ll be sure to return here. Great food, excellent service, and a relaxing atmosphere that wasn’t snooty at all. Well done! I enjoyed a lovely and relaxing evening.

I haven't eaten here in over five years, and I remembered the food being good. Unfortunately, this time our fries were burnt to a crisp, and the food presentation was quite poor. The service was decent, but we ended up spending $50 just on tea and leaving most of our food uneaten.
