Chan's Asian Wok - Cold Spring

This restaurant is the best Chinese option in town. Despite confusion with other nearby Chinese eateries, it surpasses them in quality. The staff is courteous, Christian, and serves delicious sesame chicken and egg rolls. Take-out orders are packed generously, with or without rice. The portion size of rice is smaller when included in the order, demonstrating their generosity and kindness.

I absolutely love this place, as I've been going here since I was a child. The food is excellent and Peter always knows how to make you feel welcome. Great owner, great restaurant! 5 stars, easily!

I have to say, my food was decent but the portion size was just okay. However, I have to address the issue with my husband's meal. We were charged over $9 for a plate filled mostly with vegetables, despite ordering a meat dish. His pepper chicken dish was extremely disappointing, as he barely received any chicken - with each piece being smaller than a dime. As someone who has worked in the food industry as both a chef and a waitress, I usually don't complain, but this was just outrageous. The staff were friendly, but the portion size was simply unfair and left us feeling ripped off. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be returning to this restaurant due to the disappointing experience with my husband's dish.

As someone who travels the country as a truck driver, I have the opportunity to eat at a variety of restaurants. Unfortunately, the pad Thai I had at this particular restaurant was the most revolting noodle dish I have ever tasted. It had no flavor, no sauce, and no seasonings. It simply tasted like burnt water. To make matters worse, they refused to provide me with a simple cup of water. I paid $22 for this abysmal meal, which I consider to be a complete rip-off. I would much rather eat a two-day-old McDonald's hamburger than endure that meal again.

We ordered General Tso's chicken and Orange chicken. Terrible food. It was as if they cooked this food yesterday or before. If you ever go to even below average Chinese restaurant you'll be disappointed here. Even Panda Express is way better than the food we got here. Definitely will not eat here again.
