Eddie's On Grand - Cold Spring

I gave this restaurant two stars because my mom really enjoyed her hot beef commercial, claiming it was the best she had during our week in town. Unfortunately, the rest of us were not as pleased with our meals. My pulled pork was more like grilled chopped pork and was quite difficult to eat. My sister's burger was burnt. There were only a few people in the restaurant, but the service was still very slow, and we often found ourselves with empty drinks. Additionally, the restaurant was uncomfortably hot; despite it being a warm day, they only had fans running and the doors open. I'm not usually one to complain about the heat, but it was quite overwhelming. None of us would like to return.

I sat at one of three tables and waited six minutes before being acknowledged. Now, it's been 33 minutes and I'm still waiting for my chicken wings. This is a complete disappointment! Despite all the changes, there have been no improvements. I live by the lake and won’t be returning. It's really disappointing.

I haven't been to this place in years, but sitting on the high balcony with its beautiful view was wonderful. I ordered a BLT and, surprisingly, there was so much bacon on the sandwich that I didn't think it was possible! It was delicious! To top it all off, we received fantastic service from our amazing waitress!

I've tried a couple times and the food is just not good. Service has been fine each time I've been. Staff is always been friendly.

We stopped in based on a recommendation from a friend. Pleasantly impressed with Dani our waitress and Austin the cook. He had the prime rib sandwich and I had the blackened walleye. Everything was cooked to perfection! Great craft beers on tap as well. The place is clean and quaint very welcoming! Dani said they do get busy, so if the house of full, expect a little wait, you will find it's worth it! Have a beer enjoy...
