La Fornace - COLLEDARA

It happened by chance of work, we had lunch in this wonderful structure embraced by the mountains. welcomed by the manager we tasted two anthopasti, two first and a superlative wine. the kitchen is of first quality and raw materials. the welcome and the nice chat were very appreciated. We felt at home. the value of money is more than honest. the property lends itself to wonder for events and parties. We will definitely come back!

This is a very beautiful place for authentic Italian cuisine. beautiful mountain views, friendly staff, good eating.

I was there for a shower. the food was excellent and the service was very good. the place is beautifully decorated and has a decorative fountain in the back.

I have the situation around approx. 6 o'clock checked and found the space blank (in juni, but the setting fantastic. the menu checked and the prices found really affordable. we decided to go back and know that we were probably the only customers. but the idea of dinner outside, on the veranda with a view of the grand sasso mountain chain and the beautiful garden, let us decide to take the chance. the waiter spoke only Italian, but tried his best. he asked if we wanted to try local specialties and we nodded yes, thought it was about the starter. but we couldn't see the menu while the dishes come again and again. only for the main course he asked if we wanted primi or secundi piatti, so my wife took the primi (pasta and I took il secundi (lamb chops). (they had a choice of two for primi and secundi. the dessert was gourgisch (easy ice with some local cirches matured in sugar for 40 days. my wife has some local sweets. the great question therefore remained; what will they calculate for all this? let me tell them; for everything we had, including 1/2 l of a beautiful local white wine and a complete glass montepulciano, they pay less than for a good steak in a typical Belgian restaurant on medium level. and the service was fantastic. highly recommended if they are for an experience and love to dinate outside with a satisfying view!
