Saladworks - College Park

I recently had my first experience dining at Saladworks. I ordered the Asian crispy chicken salad from the Saladworks at Union Market in Washington, DC. The salad was fresh, delicious, and full of flavor, with a generous portion size. I'm excited to try more dishes from this restaurant in the future.

I received a receipt that didn’t belong to me, and upon noticing the difference in prices, I asked the cashier for the correct receipt that matched my payment. He claimed he must have thrown it away, and then, rather than addressing my concern, he rudely suggested that I was expecting my salad for free just because I was asking. His attitude was quite disrespectful, and he accused me of demanding something I never indicated I wanted. Instead of reprinting the receipt, he began discussing me with his coworkers right in front of me and dismissed me while the manager tried to handle the situation. Additionally, my soup was only filled halfway.

I highly recommend visiting this place. The salads are fantastic for the price!

I actually love the salad from here, but unfortunately I always have to trick whomever is working for 2 actual portions of any protein. Whenever I ask for 2 portions of chicken for example, I have to ask for them seperately in order to get 2 actual portions instead of 1 and an extra DROP of chicken. I literally have to ask for chicken, something else, and then chicken again and they always seemed bothered by that (a little tip for newcomers). I was literally here last night and decided to test my theory. I ordered 2 portions of chicken instead of my usual trickery and of course got 1 portion and about 3 chunks more. I asked the lady if that was an actual 2 portions and she basically just stared at me. Conflicted on whether I should use 1 of my 5 options to add a 3rd portion or pay extra for additional protein but figured no point to waste either for what would most likely be another 3 chunks more at most. Otherwise I love the salads here; just sad employees essentially rob the customer
