Our server was excellent—polite, knowledgeable about the menu, and attentive without being intrusive. I enjoyed the carrot "pan" cake stacks, which were delightful! They featured layers of carrot, raisin, and walnut cakes with cream cheese frosting, truly tasting like a real carrot cake. The dish came with scrambled eggs, which were quite tasty, and the house sausage was bursting with flavor in the best possible way. My companion ordered crispy fried chicken tenders served on a Belgian waffle, drizzled with their homemade chipotle honey. For our child, we chose Belgian waffles with eggs and bacon. The RWANDA MUHONDO SINGLE-ORIGIN COFFEE was good, but I personally preferred the house coffee. This place is definitely worth a visit when you're in College Station!
What I loved about the experience: the portion sizes are generous. My omelette could easily feed two people. I also highly recommend the City Grits. Plus, my cocktail was quite tasty. I should also mention that our servers, Adam and Marcos, were attentive and prompt. However, there are a couple of things that could be improved: as a mimosa enthusiast, I was surprised that my $12 mimosa was a bit lacking in both serving size and presentation. I expected more based on the description—much more. Overall, definitely check this place out!
The food was amazing, the ambiance was delightful, and our server, Jen, was outstanding. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you're in Bryan College Station. The photo displays the delicious dishes we tried.
I had a letdown with the To-Go ordering at this restaurant. When I got home and opened my food, it was cold and unappetizing. I waited 15 minutes for assistance while I watched my meal just sit at the bar. After that, I had to wait again for another staff member to check me out. Overall, it took around 30 minutes for what should have been a quick process. I also ordered beignets for my best friend, but unfortunately, they were burnt to a crisp. I think you'll have a much better experience if you choose to dine in. I can't recommend ordering To-Go.
We decided to let Google Maps lead us to a breakfast spot on our way to New Braunfels, and it exceeded our expectations. The Floridian omelette was one of the best I've ever had, generously filled with crab meat in every bite. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the addition of jack cheese and onions was a delightful touch—there was no shortage of cheese. The side of grits was substantial enough to be a meal on its own; I left feeling completely satisfied. My partner ordered the Supreme Omelette, which was also bursting with cheese and bacon in every bite. The restaurant had a modern and welcoming atmosphere, and our waiter was attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be coming back!
