Cold Beer! Brewers - College Station

The food here was fantastic and incredibly delicious. Although the kids' menu doesn't offer smaller burgers, the regular burgers are massive and full of flavor. Just make sure to specify that you want it well-done if you're not a fan of medium-well burgers. They also serve local beer on tap, chilled to help you relax. We chose to sit outside, and it was nice to have no flies bothering us. My family and I visited on a Sunday afternoon, and it was pretty laid-back and quiet. They even have cornhole set up in the front for some fun. Parking can be a bit tight, but there is street parking available. If you're in the area, definitely stop by for a meal!

**Pros:** 1. **Beer Selection:** They offer a fantastic variety of beers. We tried the Mexican Lager and American IPA, both of which were excellent. I wish we had stayed longer to sample more! 2. **Food Quality:** I didn’t expect much from the food (brewery fare often disappoints), but it was outstanding. We started with the Nemo Nachos, which featured sushi-grade tuna on crispy wonton wrappers topped with cucumber, avocado, and spring onions, all drizzled with three sauces. Absolutely delicious! My boyfriend had the short rib sliders, while I tried the black bean sliders. Everything was great—the buns, the patties, and the fries were all tasty. 3. **Atmosphere:** The venue is charming, housed in an old-looking building with a spacious front porch for outdoor seating, as well as indoor options (perfect for avoiding the Texas summer heat like I often do). 4. **Sports Viewing:** They have TVs for catching sports games. 5. **Service:** The service was excellent! **Cons:** Not many, really. Parking can be a bit challenging, but other than that, we had a fantastic time! I can’t wait to return!

I did notice that the food menu has changed and become smaller since my last visit in 2014, but it’s still delicious! I had a burger, and they offer many tempting add-ons that can quickly add to the price. I do miss that the burger used to come topped with arugula instead of regular lettuce. I appreciate that everything is made to order, ensuring freshness and warmth, though it does mean a bit of a wait. That’s okay, as they have TVs showing football games while you wait. My only complaint would be about the restrooms; they feel dark, outdated, and not very clean. That said, I’ve definitely seen worse.

Freaking love this place!! I usually avoid Northgate like the plague but I will make an exception for this place. Family friendly brewery with great beer, strong community ties, good food, and pretty good waitresses. Camnot speak highly enough about thos place! The one and only drawback if I had to find a negative is the parking.... northgate parking freaking sucks.

I have never seen so many flies in one place. The food and servers were fine. But do not sit outside. There were at least 60 flies on our table of ten. Like Amityville Horror. I know there are flies outdoors, but get some zappers, water bags hanging, fans blowing, something. It was impossible to eat and frankly disgusting.
