Alphorn Swiss Restaurant - Collingwood

This restaurant continues to be the best choice for great value, fun atmosphere, and delicious food. The double portion of veal cutlet is over the top in the best way. I have been a loyal customer for years and look forward to many more visits in the future.

This restaurant does not live up to its hype. The schnitzel is dry and unremarkable, and the mushroom sauce it comes with is overly salty.

This restaurant is amazing and enjoyable! The bar has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, similar to a pub, but with a wider selection of beer and spirits that have a more continental flair, including Swiss options.

Huge plates of food, expect a doggy-bag to take home. Food was okay, we had to try it once. Dunno if I'd go back there - the atmosphere was weird, it was group of 4 of us and it felt like the staff were just stood around watching us. There were other diners in also. We were not being rowdy, just having a nice friendly gathering after a hard day's work... hmmmm weird tho!

If you want to get oit with friends and family for a great wholesome meal straight from the Alps, this is a sure bet! Best schnitzel ever, beer list like no other! If it's your birthday be sure to share and let them show you how to celebrate!
