Kikaku Sushi Bar - Collingwood

Very bad service. The taste of the hot pot is very bad too. They even forgot to bring us the drink before we finished.

My family and I are having a kids honeymoon in Blue Mountain this week. We are staying at the Blue Mountain Inn and we wanted sushi for dinner.We noticed outside that they were having specials. Since it isn't all you can eat and we have 3 kids, it would be a good deal. It was for 4 people. 4 rolls, nigiri, and soup for everyone. We ordered seaweed salad, shrimp tempura, sashimi dinner for us and two speciality rolls. The best part was my husband and I got collingwood beers for $6! Sapporo was $12! The service was great and we couldn't believe that he didn't write anything down! The seaweed salad was good and our daughter loved the shrimp tempura. Our sashimi dinner was delicious! The butter dish was outstanding! The only problem was the sashimi was cut inconsistently and my husband was mad I got thicker salmon pieces. Also the soy sauce bowls are super tiny and it was hard not to spill it everywhere!!The rolls were perfect for the kids and we had a few ourselves. The spicy salmon roll had the perfect amount of heat. The solar salmon roll was smokey and creamy, very tasty. My husband loved the Blue Mountain roll. It was not spicy, but flavorful. Overall it was a nice place and we would eat here again.

Someone needs to teach them to add properly.

Great variety of specialty rolls. We were not able to find the menu online, but had no problem ordering in person for take-away. We tried five different rolls and all were delicious and well made.

So If you are a vegetarian and looking for healthy options in Blue Mountains the sushi was a good find. There is warm miso soup, which I paired with edamame and then the vegetarian sushi. The service and ambiance are ok, but the food was better.
