bonjour saigon - Cologne

For lunch with a group of friends and enjoyed the great portions and very good service. the teriyaki huh and crispy escape can be recommended! eating is west, but we didn't notice it.

The food was average and the service quite good. My surprise was when I asked for the bill and I was with my credit card in my hand and the waitress said we only accept German credit cards. She finally said that there was an...ATM round the corner. I could asked her to try to proceed the payment with my card but luckily I had in my pocket. In my opinion it’s amazing that in the century the restaurants only accept German cards in a population city as Cologne. I guess that the business owner only wants German customers. By the way I’m an Spanish traveller, therefore an EU citizen in Germany and I could not pay with my Spanish credit card. In my opinion I think this restaurant policy is a bit xenofobic.

We are here with a group of and we were so busy talking that half of us forgot what they ordered and some orders were forgotten completely. Both ourselves and the illogical ordering system lead to this. I ended up with a different entré...than ordered but it was nice as well. My main course was a beef dish that was a bit to dry to my taste. The vegetables were crunchy fresh and all other plates look very good too. The atmosphere is good. The service is a bit messy at times. Do make a reservation as this is a very popular place. Even during the week.

Nice and friendly staff. Amazing and tasty food. Good portion size at a satisfying price. Highly recommended!!

The food was really delicious and we had generous portions. there were vegan and vegetarian options. the service was fast and the wee was reasonable. the restaurant accepted our British credit card without problems. we were there on a Sunday night and had. not annoying to get a table.
