What I received was a lukewarm packet of rice wrapped in a banana leaf, along with ash plantain and brinjal curry, dhal curry with visible raw grains, a cutlet that appeared to be made with mashed potatoes and onions, and a small amount of seeni sambol. Unfortunately, there was no cuttlefish in the dish. The total cost, including delivery, was Rs. 1454, making it an expensive disappointment. Overall, it felt like a rip off for old, subpar food.
This restaurant is my favorite spot for lunch, offering delicious options such as normal rice and curry, yellow rice, and lamprais. The dishes are flavorful and the serving sizes are generous.
The Pork Rice and Curry at this restaurant was absolutely delicious. The pork curry was cooked perfectly and the vegetable curries were very tasty. I especially enjoyed the Parippu Curry, Polsambal, green mallum, and papadam. Overall, a great meal!
The restaurant is located near thunmulla junction on havelock road, from a street at the hercules tailor, in a small house. they have parking spaces for about vehicles. the entrance is accessible by a glass door from the veranda. the sink to wash their hands is located outside the restaurant, which is more queer how to expect them in the washing room. they have taken into account the customer in any case if they bought the chairs and tables. the chairs are ergonomically designed so they can concentrate on eating their food and not worry about getting a back. they have some ethnic images hanging on the wall to make it look like a local restaurant. the best part is the price list at the entry in chalk on a board. on the midday they can find a series of food in a food warmer. at this time are rice and curry with white or red rice, biryani, nasi goreng and fried rice. the portion size is quite generous and the price is appropriate. a rice and curry can be bought between and depending on whether it is vegetarian, fish or huh. the other costs around rs. br/> I have dined here twice before and bought countless paints outliers. they run out of p.m. from eating. the curries are really delicious and should be homemade. I miss the lack of shops selling real sinhales food. Although the name rasa bojun is (which tasty food in sinhalese), the curries have a hint on jaffna curry ingredients. in the night they focus mainly on a handful of items. there are funnels, kottu roti, fried rice and nasi goreng, in the round the same items that they can find in the ordinary street shops, only to slightly higher praises. I tried their fried rice and I am glad to say they cook them without msg. bravo! another restaurant that avoids MSG.Delivery is only provided if they order large quantities, and they must be more than rs.
I found this place when I was looking for sri lankas eating, thanks to zomato. friendly mines came from Germany and hunted all the Sri lanka food places. we both tried this place to lunch and eating was amazing and I would rate them we tried both sweets and curry as well as fritted fi screams and curry options. it was a great experience. here you will get many curry and salad options. most important is that you get both dhal and papadam. the red rice is the best you can get from the shop. as good as the rice we get during the harvesting period of our paddle fields. the curries are made with the perfect combination of seasoning, chili and salt. large part. worth more than what they pay.Service is great here you can get them to start served on a plate above the counter. very helpful staff. there are few tables and chairs to eat. if they are in the neighbourhood, they try. it is worth going there.
