Luna Pizza - Colonia

We ordered from this restaurant on a football Sunday, anticipating some wait time. However, the estimated 45-60 minute wait ended up being a frustrating 2 hours. When we finally received our food, the pizza was cold and the dough wasn't fully cooked. Additionally, we ordered mussels, but about a quarter of them were either closed or cracked. When we contacted the manager about the issue, they were rude and questioned why we couldn't eat the closed mussels. They then asked, "What do you want, more food or a refund?" They didn't seem to care at all about our concerns. We have always ordered from Luna's, but it's disheartening to see the decline in service quality, especially after reading similar reviews. Ultimately, we returned the food to the restaurant and decided to order from another local pizza place. They informed us that they would never serve closed mussels and mentioned that they've been hearing numerous complaints about Luna's lately. It's very disappointing.

The restaurant is very nice and clean, and the food is delicious. While it is a bit pricey, we felt that the quality of the pizza justified the cost, so we didn't mind it.

This restaurant used to be fantastic, but I’m not sure if there are new owners or what, as it seems to keep declining. I ordered a pizza that arrived late and cold. I can overlook that occasionally, but it’s becoming more common. The pepperoni pinwheels used to be amazing, but now they’re tiny—barely the size of a silver dollar—and the bottoms are burnt to a crisp. Additionally, they charge a $1 fee for card payments and a $2 delivery fee. Even with gas prices, $2 feels excessive for such a short distance—just a quarter-mile.

I was babysitting my niece yesterday and we decided to order from this place since it was the closest to the house maybe like five minutes way. Both the girl who took my order and the delivery guy were very nice. However the rest was extremelydisappointing. The food was disgusting. I asked for a cheeseburger deluxe with fries well done with provolone cheese and theburger on the outside was completely burnt but inside was very raw I almost puked. There was no provolone cheese anywhere butinstead they smeared mayonnaise everywhere. The mozzarella sticks were okay but the slice of sicilian pizza had a very hardcrust and practically had no taste. On top of it everything arrived cold and almost an hour after placing the order which isvery surprising since the place is like five minutes away from the house. We?ll never order from this place again.

The restaurant is very nice, clean, and the food is delicious. It is somewhat pricey, but the quality of the pizza makes it worth it.
