Tops China - Colonial Heights

I can't speak for the other reviews, but my experience with the food here has been far superior to other places I've tried. I've never faced any issues, and the food is consistently excellent.

I ordered the house mei fun, which is my favorite dish to get for takeout. Sometimes I like to switch it up and order Singapore mei fun, which features yellow cured noodles. Whenever I order the house special mei fun, I always ask if they can add plenty of chili or chili oil to make it spicy. I often find that the spiciness at other places can vary between mild and barely more than mild, so I was pleased when I tasted my noodles today. They were prepared with a generous amount of chili and had the nice spiciness that I enjoy. I'll definitely be back! I gave it 4 stars because there were only two staff members working, so my wait for the order was a bit longer than most people would prefer—about six or seven minutes. However, I’m patient and didn’t mind the wait. Overall, I recommend trying them out; they do a great job with spicy mei fun!

The Chinese food isn't bad. However, they don't offer delivery, which isn't great for business. My son really enjoys their shrimp fried rice, and I appreciate that they have traditional candies available for customers to try at the counter. They have a good location and reasonable prices. I would likely order more often if they offered delivery.

Consistent and good enough for quick pick up with most orders ready in 20 minutes or less.
