Greek Gyros - Colorado Springs

We focus our reviews on the food, as it can truly elevate any dining experience, regardless of other factors. Greek Gyros serves outstanding Greek Gyros that are simply delightful. We visited on a Sunday around 1:00 PM. The place wasn't too crowded, just three other patrons were there. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and we placed our order quickly. However, we found ourselves waiting... and waiting. It took a full half hour before the employee kindly informed us that our three gyros were ready. Typically, such a long wait would prompt me to deduct two stars from my rating, and I had fully planned to do so. But once we tasted the gyros, I understood why this place has such a stellar reputation. It’s all about the food!

Amazing food at an incredible price! The restaurant was a cozy little "hole in the wall," but the staff was friendly, and the place was spotless! My husband and I both enjoyed the Gyro meals, which were fantastic. The owner served them wrapped in paper, which helped keep things neat—no messy hands while eating a gyro! The fries were generously portioned steak fries, and my salad was a perfect complement. They even offered a chicken nugget kids' meal for our picky eaters!

I've never tried a gyro before. I never thought I would like her, but my friend insisted that I try one with him. So I did the owner. was very nice and had a great attitude. He let me try a piece before I even bought one. The sauce was very good. I was surprised because the only reason I had never tried one before was because I was afraid I didn't like the sauce. But anyway, her gyros were very good and I'm sure I'll go back. Thank you. Great job!

Food was great, would go absolutely back and recommend this place. The koobideh kabob was full of taste and rice. Meals are very expensive and really fill. Only you know if you order the Kabob meal, it could take a little longer to cook the gyro. You need to save some space for the baklava or the honey nut roll, they are so good! The staff were really nice and friendly.

These guys are simply the best! We're planning to move soon, but we're determined to travel across town just to enjoy their gyros. The service is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Don't bother trying any other place. We've tried the gyro value meal, chicken value meal, falafel value meal, and our kid had the kids meal. We love them all!
