Always a fun visit. Cinnamon rolls and pretzels are our favorites. Remember that the mustard for the pretzels available in their business together with everything from Haribo candies to sparrow to German detergents. And they have tables outside. Take your time to visit Wimberger when you are in Colorado Springs.

Very hidden, but great. The thing I love at the German bakery is that they are always so juicy, so clean, so good in stock and so hidden that it is always fun to find them. Wimberger's not different. In fact, I would go all the way to say that this is the best German Deli/Bäckerei in the city (the next in line is Schnitzel Fritz). Look at my pictures, how well stocked and varied their shelves are. The women who work there are super-friendly and even offer me free samples from some of their meats on the display. I bought some baked goods and found them excellent in every way. Not excessively sweet, not excessively sticky and only the correct amount of fruit canned in them. Seriously, I like this place and wish I were more around her. If you are German, you probably already know about this place, but I wish I knew it earlier!

Wonderful place! Very nice and professional staff. Well stocked and delightful atmosphere. They had everything I wanted at reasonable prices.
