Applebee's Grill - Columbia

The service was extremely slow, even though the restaurant didn't seem too busy. All four of us were ready to order drinks at the same time, but it took around 30 minutes for us to receive them. The same thing happened with our food, which made the experience quite embarrassing for our group. We wanted to order more drinks, but decided against it as we didn't want to wait another hour. Although the food and drinks were fine, the server appeared to be preoccupied and more focused on the other tables, so the overall experience was disappointing. I do not plan on returning, and neither do the others in my group.

I used to frequent Applebee's a few years ago because it was the closest restaurant to me. Today, I visited a different location that was conveniently located near a fast road but away from heavy traffic. The restaurant was not crowded and we were seated promptly. The staff was friendly, the tables and menus were clean, and the food was delicious and served hot. I ordered the Fiesta Lime Chicken, while others at my table had the Lime Chicken and Rice Bowl. Our server was efficient and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. All of us left satisfied and added this restaurant to our list of go-to places to eat. Overall, it was a great experience. If the bathroom had been cleaner and more updated, I would have given it a perfect rating.

The service at this restaurant was below average. The server seemed uninterested and we had trouble getting their attention. The food was mediocre, with the spinach dip being served cold and we were unable to get the server to return to our table to address the issue. However, the steak was cooked to a perfect medium and was very good. We may consider trying a different location in the future.

Wait for them to sit for 10 minutes or longer. wait 20 minutes to pick up an order. Eating was rough. salat was dressing. only two server came to work and they did the best they could. the bathrooms were disgusting and restaurant was dirty. no good day for this applebee.

Food was good and the waiters hospitality was pretty good. Restaurant in general could use a deep clean. I mean like new carpet a bathroom remodel and new tables and chairs. This is more of an owner issue than an employee issue.
