Had the 3 meat sample platter, loved everything. Parents had the half slab of ribs and,d they were the best ribs I've ever had.

Really great food in an old fashioned BBQ smokehouse atmosphere, with a friendly wait staff, full bar, and excellent menu selection. The proprietor has great stories. My favorite place.

Good food and fast friendly service. Their horseradish cole slaw is a unique side dish that perfectly complements the barbecue.

Glad I'm not the owner... the handful of negative reviews would make me angry! I've been enjoying their food for almost 20 years... Growing up in KC I have high standards for BBQ and this place nails it every time. Ham and brisket are always well trimmed (no fat to speak of) service is always fast. Beans and coleslaw are the best I've ever found... And if you are in the mood for a change the Pit Salad with half turkey and half ham is to DIE for...

Always a good meal. And being able to get the smoked meats home for our lunches this week is spot on!
