Dok Khao Thai Eatery Columbia

This is the best Thai food I've ever experienced! Everything was incredibly fresh and packed with flavor. The interior of Dok Khao is simply breathtaking, surrounded by beautiful greenery that enhances the dining experience. We decided to step outside our comfort zone and ordered the duck roll as an appetizer, which was absolutely delicious and came with a unique plum sauce. Our waitress was attentive, even as things got busy around 6 PM. We will definitely be returning!

This is by far the best Thai restaurant I've tried in Maryland. I was really impressed with the green curry; it had a very homestyle feel with just the right amount of spice. It was creamy and packed with plenty of meat and vegetables. I preferred it over the Street Noodles I ordered. I also had a chance to taste my friend's Dok Khao Pad Thai, which I enjoyed a lot! It was rich in flavor, with a great balance of savory soy sauce and sweetness. However, it definitely needed some lime to balance out the heaviness! I wasn't a big fan of the Street Noodles; the smell was off-putting as I think they added fish sauce, making it more tangy than the Pad Thai, though I didn't find it better. The prices are slightly on the higher side, likely due to the fact that the restaurant is new. The décor leans towards a fine dining atmosphere. Overall, the service was excellent.

Delicious! Very good service also. I had the veggie yellow curry and an appetizer of veggie spring rolls and both were very tasty! Many veg options. Food came out quickly and correctly (we did some slight customizations to our entrees) and our server was attentive throughout the meal. The restaurant decor was also very nice! Overall great experience and would return!

This was our first visit to the restaurant, and we thought everything was fantastic. We ordered the steamed dumplings, crab rangoon, crispy pork with kana, and pineapple fried rice. The flavors were outstanding. We can't wait to return and try more dishes. I truly believe you can't go wrong here—it's some of the best Thai food we've ever had!

I knew this new Thai place was opening but didn't get to check it out for a long while. However I was so pleasantly surprised at the decor, ambience, service and food! You have the usual suspects of course with pad thai, curries, pad see ew, etc. We got some chicken gyoza to share and I got a wonton soup which I rarely get to order as most wonton soup has pork wontons. The broth was light and perfect for a summer app. I did load it up with some thai condiments (iykyk to ask for it) and the spiciness really worked for me. For my main I got the minced chicken with rice and fried egg and the portion sizes were so big I had leftovers. My bf got the lychee duck curry which was delicious. Would highly recommend this Thai place if you're in the Columbia area.
