Feedback gevenThe restaurant's interior has an elegant appearance, but it feels quite outdated. Unfortunately, the 14oz center-cut ribeye and 8oz tenderloin filet did not live up to their price. I ordered the ribeye medium-well, but it arrived well-done instead. The lobster meat topping was barely noticeable, and the Brussels sprouts that accompanied the dish were unremarkable. On a positive note, our waitress was very attentive and had a fun, playful attitude.
I particularly enjoyed the beef skewers, which were expertly seasoned and cooked to a perfect medium rare. The meat was tender and flavorful, served in a delicious cream sauce with mushrooms and onions. I could easily eat that combination over pasta or rice as an entree. The calamari was slightly overcooked but still manageable, and it was served with a tasty spicy ranch/remoulade sauce. However, the fish and chips were disappointing; the fish was fried too hard and turned out dry, although the chips were perfectly crispy. Unfortunately, the tartar sauce was warm and had split. The shrimp and andouille pasta also fell short of expectations. While the shrimp were cooked just right—bouncy and sweet—the excessive grease from the sausage overwhelmed the dish, resulting in a bland and greasy experience. On a brighter note, the bacon burger and the black and blue burger had a rich, smoky grilled flavor. However, they lacked any sauce, dressing, lettuce, tomato, or pickles, which left them rather dry. Overall, the restaurant excels in steaks and salads, so I'd recommend skipping the seafood items and definitely saving room for dessert!
However, the staff was outstanding! The food was also fantastic. As someone with celiac disease, I was impressed by how knowledgeable the chef was about safe options. I was pleasantly surprised by this. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to visit, and I highly recommend it!
I have had the opportunity to go to grand cru on two separate occasions with a group of women. They have done an amazing job with our last minute accommodations to have a private room and the food has been delicious. I am a foodie and love a greatappetizer as well as a great meal the scallops are to die for and so is the duck, So good in fact I have went twice in a week!
Absolutely Amazing!!! The food was so awesome!!! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Tyler the General manager went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect!!!! Alexa was our waitress and you couldn?t ask for better. We had 11 people forour Twin girls birthday party everybody?s food was prepared perfect. We never waited on anything. I?d give them 10 stars ifavailable!!! If you haven?t tried this restaurant lately, you won?t be disappointed!!! Thanks again for everything!!!
