The Food Market Columbia

Fabulous, fresh and excellent service. Recommend a reservation though. We walked in with the and were sat after two reservations. One who came in right before us and another who came in after. The coffee martini was great. Smooth, flavorful. The floating coffee beans were a nice touch. Had to try their mozzarella sticks after seeing others reviews. They did not disappoint. Crispy outside, ooey gooey inside. The marinara was delicious. We couldn't make up our mindbecause EVERYTHING on the menu looked and sounds amazing. We split a chicken sandwich they cut it in half, two plates with two fries. The homemade relish was my favorite part. Dessert we went with an appetizer the mini Heather barpancakes. Wow!!! Superb. Looking forward to a return trip to try some of the many other items we couldn't decide betterment.

Excellent selection with good cocktails. I like the variability of the different size dishes, from small plates of to huge plates. If you?re on a diet, the Food Market has limited options. You won?t leave hungry! Good ambiance. As I mentioned in the picture, this place lost a full star for a dine in experience due to the ugly, uncomfortable chairs. If that doesn?t bother you, this is a solid 4 star restaurant.

My Colleague took me to The Food Market in Columbia for my retirement celebration. I did not know about this location. She made an excellent choice. The restaurant gets very crowded very quickly reservations are highly recommended. I arrived 11:45 a little crowded by 12:15 pm It was packed. The atmosphere is layed back casual. It is in the middle of and inside an office tower. Our server was pleasant attentive and knowledgeable. The server came over immediately westarted with the Big Ole' Mozzarella sticks 3 huge Mozzarella sticks and then Buffalo Pickles which are served on a Gorgonzola Dressing. All were delicious. I had the Hot Pastrami sandwich and my colleague had the BBQ Salmon Salad. We bothenjoyed our food immensely. Everything came out quick and hot. They are also showcasing a local Artist's (Cohen) work. I thought that was great. Definitely going back

Went for restaraunt week and the food was great. Service was a bit slow(waited 45 minutes for our first food) but service was overall good. The environment is clean and looks nice, I would say it's minimalistic. The food is the reason to come here as they make unique takes on dishes.

This is the first time we had been to the Columbia MD location. And we had brunch. The portions were huge for the price and the food was delicious. I also had a cocktail which was awesome. It was a raspberry vodka martini. Thank you for pleasant experience.
