However, I was disappointed by the half-hour wait for my food. Additionally, the chefs forgot to add sauce to my friend's dish. On a positive note, the drunken noodles were fantastic, and I highly recommend trying them!
The Thai food was quite underwhelming. The pad thai didn’t stand out in terms of flavor, and the sweet and sour fish was just okay. We had to choose a different fish since they didn’t have our first choice available. The calamari was the most disappointing; the batter made it overly greasy, and it didn’t taste fresh at all.
This is a wonderful small family-owned restaurant that I have adored since it was located on the Missouri River at Cooper's Landing! The owners have a fantastic sense of humor, and the food is consistently delicious and flavorful. I've tried every Thai restaurant in Columbia, and Chims is by far my favorite for its authentic taste and beautiful presentation! I highly recommend the shrimp Thai salad for a spicy and healthy treat—I'm completely addicted to it! My husband's favorite dish is the chicken Pad Thai, which he has been ordering since he was 12 years old.
Chim's is the best Thai food in the area. When they say everything is good they mean it. I have been quite a few times and always get at least 1 thing new and it is always really good. I have yet to find something on the menu that I don't like. It's family owned and run and they are always extremely helpful and courteous. We drive about 40+ minutes to eat hear and I don't plan on stopping.
It's a really nice place to eat, they have a spicy scale, be careful because it's really spicy (and I love spicy food)
