It truest is like stepping back in time-the pieces depicting the WWI and WWII times are so realistic, one can imagine sliding up to a fireplace after the chill of thecountryside. We scored a fireside table. It was dark and could only imagine watching planes take off and land with better light. The service was friendly and professional, and the delivery of the sizzling steak was just that-visually sizzling! Great placeto come for a quiet dinner. The background music was nice and appropriate. We commented that the dining room reminded us of theInn from ?White Christmas?. Very old school
Wonderfully unique restaurant situated between runways of Columbus International Airport. Between all of the WWI and WWII antiques and memorabilia and the old French farmhouse building and the 1940's music playing in the background this place is oneof the coolest restaurants I've eaten at. The food was delicious and the service was great. I will come back again next time Iam in Columbus for sure.
Dionne was a fantastic server. Place was very nostalgic and had a pleasant view of the incoming and outgoing airplanes. Food was okay, chocolate cake was a little dry and scampi a little bland. Cajun pasta was a big hit.
Very interesting place with lots of history. Very good food. Friendly staff with great service. Close to John Glenn airport Columbus Don 't judge it by the outside. You will miss out
This was my husband and Is first time here and after reading some of the other reviews I?m surprised. When we first arrived we were the only ones there and they sat us by the window, the view was great. I started off with a Manhattan and it was fabulous. They give you complementary bread and we found ours to be tasteless, very hard stale (but my husband ate it anyway). We hadthe crab stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer and the dish is kind of perplexing. It comes out in an escargot baking dish so theyare hotter than the surface of the sun when you try to take a bite. I didn?t taste any mushroom or crab just a bunch of cheeseon top of what might have been a mushroom slice. Not my fave. My husband and I shared a surf turf and it was actually a lotbetter than it looked so we were very happy. We decided to drink our dessert(s) and were very fond of all. Our waitress waswonderful! My husband is a talker and she had no problem keeping up a conversation with us while also providing quick andexcellent service. And do I even have to mention the decor? It?s epic.
