The food is great, and there’s a wide variety to choose from at the buffet. The atmosphere is quite nice, and the staff is very polite. I really hope they bring back the $3.99 biryani!
I absolutely love this restaurant! It’s within walking distance from my home, and I find myself visiting 2-3 times a week, often with my wife. They serve some of the best Indian food I've experienced in Columbus. The quality of the food is consistently outstanding, and the service is top-notch. Among all the Indian restaurants in the Polaris area—which are quite numerous—this one has my highest recommendation. Plus, their weekday buffet is only $7.99, which is an incredible deal for such excellent lunch options.
The food is all very fresh and as high a quality (as well as minimally processed) as they can find; they owner takes pride in the fact that his kitchen has no canned food. With such quality and care put into the food, it is no wonder that it is both authentic and delicious. Best of all: it is also affordable, especially the weekday buffets! The weekend buffets have more variety, ergo the added cost, but they are still moderately priced.
Went for the buffet. The food was tastier and a little spicier than other Indian buffets I've been to. I'm sure ordering off the menu the food would be better still. The mango lassi was good. It had a pleasant and unexpected fizz to it, like they made it with keifer. When I saw they had gulab jamun on the buffet I was excited, and when I tried some the flavor was good but they were very hard and stale, like they'd been on the buffet for a few days.
