Cameron's American Bistro - Columbus

The restaurant offers a lovely atmosphere, an impressive menu, excellent food preparation, and top-notch service. I ordered the Walleye, and my wife appreciated the gluten-free options available. We dined in for dinner, and our total came to over $100 per person. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at a perfect 5. I highly recommend trying the scallops (gluten-free), seared duck breast, and shrimp and grits.

I enjoyed the scallop entree and shrimp cocktail, both of which were perfectly cooked and delicious. The service was excellent, and we never wanted for anything during the visit. If I had to make a complaint, I would say that the portion sizes weren't enough for me, but then I'm a big eater and no one else at my table had any issue with that so I'd say that's more on me than on Cameron's. I can’t say enough great things about the food! My husband and I started with the crab cake and salads, and they were all delicious. As for our entrees (which I’ve included in a picture), they were truly exceptional! Cameron’s Walleye was outstanding, accompanied by perfectly cooked green beans, creamy mashed potatoes, and a wonderful sauce. For dessert, we indulged in the chocolate cake, which was rich and delectable. The wine selection was impressive as well. Overall, we had a fantastic dinner! Our server was very friendly and attentive, and we didn’t have to wait long for our meals to arrive. The restaurant itself has a cozy, romantic atmosphere with dim lighting, candles, and soft music. This is the perfect spot for a date night if you’re ready to splurge on an excellent meal.

Super high attention to detail on ingredients, flavor, and presentation. It’s not a cheap place, but very reasonable for the great quality. Excellent service, as well. I had moved further from this place, and hadn’t been here in a while, and I had forgotten how great it was. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
