Captain D's - Columbus

It's been a while since we visited Captain D's, and we were pleased with our experience. We ordered the Country Style Fish Dinner, which came with fries, coleslaw, and hush puppies. The fish was served hot, crispy, and cooked to perfection. The fries and coleslaw were tasty, while the hush puppies had a delightful crunch on the outside and were nice and moist on the inside. If you're a fan of fish and looking for a good meal at a reasonable price, definitely check out Captain D's!

It appears that prices have increased and the portions are smaller than before. The fish, in particular, was noticeably less substantial than in the past. On the plus side, the overall quality of the food was excellent, except for my daughter's chicken, which was dry and overcooked. However, the service was outstanding.

The drive-thru service was incredibly fast! I just ordered a snack—a piece of fish and some hush puppies—and they were fantastic. Everything was fresh and not greasy, with the perfect crunch. The hush puppies were delightful! Even though there were six cars ahead of me when I placed my order, I still got through in no time. I had just come from White Castle, where I waited over four minutes at the window without anyone taking my order. Thank you, Captain D’s! I want to give a shout-out to your amazing crew and the cook—you’re welcome to be my go-to chef anytime! I really appreciate a good cook. Columbus, Indiana, you’ve got a gem here!

Stopped in last night thinking we going to get f.p.... instead we had the best fast food, let alone fish sandwiches my wife and i have had in a long time. Thanks Captain!

We love Captain D's so much that we make a two-hour round trip just to enjoy a meal there.
