Updated review from 6 years ago. Service is definitely better. Employees are very friendly. Food is very good. You have proper beer taps, like you'd see in the UK and Ireland. The only negative was the Guinness pour. Filled straight up in one pour with glass sitting straight up and down under the tap. Lots of bubbles in the head. Also no tulip style Guinness glass. Guinness was a bit sour too. Not sure if becasue of the pour or dirty lines. Had high hopes after seeing those stunning taps you have.
Exceptional food, service was spot on and the atmosphere is very pleasant.
Not impressed. It wasn’t busy for almost 9 PM on a Saturday. We were immediately seated, which is excellent. The loaded tavern chips were good, and it was a decent portion size. I am usually not a steak eater when going out, but I splurged and paid double for what I would have for the burger. The NY Strip lacked flavor and was a bit chewy. I love grits, especially with cheese, but the cake grits were terrible. My wife ordered a flatbread pizza and could only eat one small section. The meat was also chewy, and the sauce tasted like sugary maple syrup. Maybe they have good burgers and fries? I can’t say we are in a hurry to go back and spend another $82 on a meal.
Went for Sunday brunch and it was great! Highly recommend the cinnamon roll if it’s available!
