We were going to go to Melt but the wait was shorter here. They told us it would be about 45 minutes but it was about 70 minutes. I get it, it's a weekend, prime time and they were packed. I was thinking the food must bee really good for people to wait that long. The host I believe was the manager as he was working hard to help out the servers and everyone else. However he didn't look at people when talking to them and even smile. I get you're busy but people want to have a pleasant experience especially if they're paying a little more here as my impression this was an upscale steakhouse as this was my first time. Our server was extremely nice and gave us a few tips on what to order. The drinks were good and her service was on point. They were extremely busy, so our food took almost an hour. We should have ordered an appetizer. I got my steak medium rare but when I got it it was closer to medium well. The server asked if I wanted another to be made but we had been waiting so long it really wasn't worth waiting even longer and the steak itself wasn't all that flavorful. Plus after a few bites I could tell that my steak had been waiting a little as it was warm and not hot which is odd as it was charred a little on top. The garlic mashed potatoes were really good but thr kale salad was below average I'm my opinion.A few things I didn't like was the water in the bathroom was ice cold when washing your hands. And to get to the restrooms you had to pass the server area and you could over hear them cursing and talking about guests which I know happens at every restaurant as I used to serve, but since it was open you think they might of kept it down. We went for my birthday and for what we paid and the experience we got, you can easily get so much more at other restaurants.A few things I liked was the decor and the pickles that came out as we were sat. I can't speak for the rest of the menu as we all ordered steaks. If you're looking for a steakhouse experience I highly recommend somewhere else. It sounds like the burgers were better but this is one place we're not going back to.
My food was okay, and the service left much to wish. I ordered the red rock bison burger medium rare, but it came overcooked. I wish the menu had indicated the sose on it, is like a sweet jam. the parmesan broccoli roast had not much taste. we were made with our burgers before our server checked allan for us. the best we ordered was the grilled shrimp appetizer. would be willing to go back for the drinks and try another burger, hopefully boiled to try.
Great bison burgers/steaks and beautiful atmosphere. we come here to eat quite often and always love it. the huckleberry margarita is my new favorite also love the homemade chips with dip!
Absolutely great eating and even better service recommend!
