The Angry Baker - Columbus

This cozy vegan café serves fantastic food and excellent coffee. The menu is straightforward, featuring a variety of vegetarian and vegan options for breakfast and lunch. I gave it 4 stars mainly because there’s limited seating, and they had run out of several menu items three hours before closing. I tried the Vegan Ruben, which was a bit dry but still quite flavorful. My friend ordered the Knife and Fork burrito, and it might just be the best breakfast burrito I've ever had. Expect the usual hipster wait for your food, but it’s definitely worth it!

Fantastic coffee and outstanding service! This place has a wonderful, eclectic charm that shines through in every detail of its design and service. I particularly love the open kitchen next to the bar seating. The food lives up to the ambiance, featuring unique burritos and creative twists on classic dishes like biscuits, gravy, and potatoes. The person behind the menu clearly has a great understanding of how to complement flavors across the entire taste experience.

A beloved spot not only in Olde Towne East but throughout Columbus as well. Although I'm not a vegetarian or vegan, I enjoy every item on their menu. They serve what is probably the best breakfast burrito I've ever tasted. I also sampled tofu for the first time when I ordered their BBQ Bowl, and it was incredibly tasty. Be sure to visit this place the next time you're on the East side!

Super awesome vegan options! My friend got the breakfast tacos and I got the fork knife burrito. Both were great but I actually preferred the tacos because the burrito was a little too dry inside. I would have liked more salsa/sauce. However, note, this is a place you order at the counter and take a number. They bring the food to you but that's it. You do not have a server who checks on you. There's water and coffee that's self-serve. At peak hour, there was no one to request more salsa from. We went at 11:00 on a Sunday and I would not recommend that. This place is tiny! There are only 18 seats inside and 2 tables outside. When we were there every seat was packed, plus people were standing waiting for food, plus the line had at least 20 people in it and it was literally out the door. You'd be best to go at a non-peak time or order to go!

Wonderful for vegans and vegetarians! Quaint little place with an outdoor setting. Good will fill you up! Staff is friendly and place is clean. Unlimited coffee, get 8 cups in and beat my record
