I have seen the owner at the beach and market, but he lacks warmth and conversation in the restaurant. The restaurant is located on a large piece of land that could be used for parking, but instead there are signs warning of falling coconuts. The menu is limited and the bar advertises beers they don't have. It has the potential to be much better, but the owner doesn't seem to be making an effort. Overall, worth a visit if you happen to be passing by, but don't expect too much.
Da Tita is a relaxed restaurant owned by an Italian and staffed by very helpful employees. They serve some of the best authentic Italian pizzas and pastas in Goa, along with other delicious dishes. The Salt Crust Fish and Ribs are highly recommended, but must be pre-ordered. The owner even makes his own mozzarella cheese and imports most of the meats. We have been loyal customers for years and have never been disappointed. Every item on the menu is excellent, but save room for dessert! If you prefer American or Indian pizzas over Italian, this may not be the restaurant for you as the flavors may be too bland for your taste.
My experience at this restaurant in November 2015 was delightful. My friends and I were in search of a change from Indian cuisine and decided to give this place a try. The restaurant was quiet when we arrived, but the waiter was friendly and attentive. We were served fresh breadsticks with a tomato dip as soon as we sat down, which were delicious and left us excited for our main courses. We ordered a vegetarian pizza, a fish pizza, and a meat pizza, and could see the chefs busy at work preparing them in the wood fired oven. The aroma was tantalizing, making our mouths water. When the pizzas arrived, they were beautifully presented with thin but sturdy crusts and perfectly balanced toppings. Each pizza had just the right amount of cheese, tomato sauce, and protein/veggies. We enjoyed trying each other's pizzas and ended up visiting the restaurant twice during our stay. If I ever find myself in Goa again, this is definitely a place I would go back to. I highly recommend it!
I went there 3 times in 2 months. the best pizza in Goa hands down. i Also had the cheese plattter and Rose wine. Well priced, good atmosphere and clean.
It is one of the better Italian places in South goa. Located close to majorda station, it is known as the pizza place amongst locals. I have been to this place twice. Personally, I loved their 4 cheese pizza. Rest of their food I found to be little over average. The mushroom ravioli was equally delicious. It was stuffed with creamy cheese and mushroom. Do try their tiramisu as well :)
