The Papillion - Colva

Walking down the beach, we were hassled by every single side by side shack. Upon arriving at Papillion just a short walk from the rabble, we were not hounded by free wifi, clean toilets, good food which was every other shacks catch. The staff were...laid back and friendly, very helpful with any of our orders. The food was tasty and a great range, wether a mid sunbathe snack or an evening meal. Easy to sit back and watch the sun set.

Nice location . little away from crowd . it gets quieter as you move away from the entry point to colva beach . can sit for hours having a leisurly breakfast or lunch . nice place to sit and sip your drind slow and easy....

I visited this restaurant during my first visit to Goa. This restaurant is quite away from the main entrance to colva beach... that's why the vicinity of the place is less populated, so you can enjoy a calm view of sea and enjoy your food....I savored king fish, pomfret, seafood cocktail. tuna and goan fenny. All the dishes were delicious and competitively priced. I would surely suggest you to try Chicken Korma here if you ever plan to hit Colva beach. Concluding, I found Papillon to be the best serving restaurant around Colva.

The food was okay, but the drinks were great. The restaurant is located farther from the touristy areas. The service was good and it seemed to be a hit with European visitors. There were lifeguards on the beach who were attentive, even trying to get local young men to swim closer to the middle of the beach.

We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed delicious food and drinks at affordable prices. The staff even managed to keep the beach in front of the restaurant clean.
