Trattoria Del Borgo - COMACCHIO

We were so busy walking along the channels and enjoying the beautiful sights in the city that we almost forget that it was past the lunchtime. most restaurants have been closed for lunch or would close soon. we asked the owner here and they still cost lunch. friendly owner, friendly staff. our bulldog girl was also welcome. we have a table outside with beautiful canal views. order two glasses local white wine (good taste good price), curry shrimp gnocchi and a plate grilled fish meeres fruit. the gnocchi were beautiful, perfectly cooked. good presentation too. but even better was the fish seafood plate. grilled whole fish fillet, tinted fish, garnel, mush, skalopp. and the speciality of the region aal! all super all fresh all tasty. also the aal very good. honest, good home. really enjoyed. safe a great option here in the historic center.

We had dinner on Saturday evening, I had tortellini bolognese and my man eel with makkaroni. both very good, fresh and tasty. for dessert we had panna cotta with frutti di bosco. very delicious! outside it looks like a very small place, but when you go, it is the opposite. beautiful decoration and atmosphere! I really recommend it.

Not to visit the best days was much too busy to cope with too many customers. service was definitiw take or leave it! I tried the special aal and polnta. was the smallest part of the polnta ever. fish was simply ok served without... Hungarian on a flat plate. other foods looked ok and better portions. I didn't stay for dessert. maybe better at a more relaxed and less busy day, but if you see that people forget this place.

Bit of a tourist trap.very central location close to trepponti which is the towns main attraction, it's a small restaurant ith a few tables on the street and some others facing an internal garden. We pick that one because the lady working at the ice...cream shop said it was good. Staff is ok but the food is just NOTgood. At all. We had gnocchetti with crab but there was no crab meat just legs. Then fish skewers that were really unedible. No wine, only half a liter of water and beer. euros each. Sorry guys. You won't see me again.

The foosd is just perfect. The trattoria was recommended by locals, that's why we didn't leave the place immediately when seeing that the waitress was really unhappy when we arrived. We didn't succeed at cheering her up, she was close to vomiting at us, probibly...due to the searsson-end. I fully undeatnd that people get tired of the many tourists but they also sould understand that Italy would be bankrupt without foreigners visiting their country. Nevertheless, the food was awesome, the risotto and the fritto misto was made just as they are supposed to. In case you don't mind impolite and arrogant people who hate everyone not native Italians, go and have a good dinner.
