This is the best sushi I've had, you have the chance to taste amazing fish fresh from the ocean, lobster, scallops, shrimp, etc... You won't be disappointed here!
This place is great. Small and intimate. A great place to make an evening out of it.Everything i ordered was fresh and delicious (Pork gyoza, unagi roll, kizuna roll and the shrimp tempura roll).
Enjoyed a delicious lunch of fresh sushi in a charming atmosphere. The fish was very fresh as well as the vegetables and rice. The wait staff were very friendly, proficient and knowledgeable about the food they were serving.
My partner has been here many times, mostly for take out, and loves it. This was my second visit. As with the first visit, the sushi is amazing. The dining room while very small is tidy and comfortable. But as happened with the first visit last year, the service is a little something to be desired. And that observation extends to the owner/chef who makes absolutely no effort to acknowledge you as you arrive, or even bother to send a smile. We had two wait staff, both who you couldn 't really classify as friendly. The word 'aloof ' comes to mind for one, and absentminded the other. We ordered the Kizuna Surfboard and did not receive our salad. Had to ask for it. We had a small candle on our table which our daughter asked to be lit. Asked staff for candle to be lit, but as there was apparently no matches in the house they just didn 't come back with it and didn 't extend any explanation. Just take the candle away and pretend request didn 't take place, I guess. At the end of our meal we were told that the bill wouldn 't be coming to the table and that it was on the computer screen at the cash for viewing. That 's fine, but again you 're informed of this in a way that just screams 'unfriendly aloofness '! I cannot speak for anyone else, but if I 'm to spend money at an eating establishment I want welcoming and friendly, not unwelcoming and strained friendly. It costs nothing to smile and make someone feel welcome and comfortable. If the Japanese word 'Kizuna ' means Bonds or connections between people then this little gem in Little Brook needs to pick up its game.
