Roy Boy's Bbq

For the longest time, Colorado Springs has been a BBQ desert... I'm so glad I finally discovered Roy Boy's, the oasis in the desert! The PiggyBack sandwich is amazing. Just the right amount of sauce to let meat still shine through. Pulled pork is tender, juicy and just the right amount of smoke. Best baked beans and mac anywhere in town too. Don't let the fact this place is in the mall (downstairs by Auntie Anne's) fool you, this is serious southern BBQ. Skip the food court and give Roy Boy's a try!

To start off this review, my family and I had a hard time finding this place. Located INSIDE the Chapel Hills Mall on the bottom floor. Hopefully that helps some people out....this BBQ is AMAZING!! I feel like most BBQ places in Colorado have the same flavors and overall menu. But Roy Boy's is unbelievably good! The portions are huge! Worth the time and money! Please let your family enjoy this place!

Finally, some fantastic BBQ in the Springs! This place makes Rudy's taste like it came out of a microwave. The setup is a bit unconventional since it seems like everything is smoked or cooked off-site. I forgot to ask for a spoon and ended up drinking the beans straight from the container because they were that delicious. I definitely recommend Roy Boy's BBQ!

You absolutely have to check out Roy and his team! The BBQ here is incredible and truly brings back memories of the South. I ordered the Southern Classic along with sides of Mac and Cheese, and both were gone in no time. The pulled pork was perfectly smoked and came with just the right amount of sauce, served in a generous portion. The Mac and Cheese tasted homemade, with subtle seasonings that complemented the smoky flavor of the pulled pork wonderfully. Pair it all with a cold can of Coke, and you’ve got an unbeatable meal! The customer service was excellent; Roy, the owner, was incredibly friendly and approachable, which made chatting with him a breeze. His staff was also fast and attentive. I highly recommend this spot if you're in the mood for BBQ. (They’re located on the first floor beneath the food court, right next to Auntie Annie's.)

My family and I visited Roy Boy's for lunch today, and we couldn't be happier! The experience was fantastic—everyone was friendly, and the food was delicious. We're thrilled to have discovered this amazing BBQ spot!
