Slim Chickens

Once again, I was served cold food, and once again, I didn't get what I ordered.

Save yourself the trouble and just head to Cane's instead. I really wish they could get my order right. I don’t understand how hard it can be to put together a salad with grilled chicken. Update 1: They still can't seem to manage a correct order. I can't wrap my head around how ranch dressing could be mistaken for honey BBQ.

The chicken and sides were delicious. The restaurant was clean, and the staff were friendly. There was plenty of space in the dining area.

Both the top and bottom buns of my sandwich were burnt, which was incredibly disappointing. It's hard to believe that anyone could miss that during the sandwich-making process. I imagine the sandwich could have been enjoyable, but the burnt bread overshadowed every bite, leaving me with a bad taste in my mouth. On a positive note, the Mac and Cheese was good, and my spouse’s chicken tenders were decent as well. However, the tenders were quite small, so the chicken and waffles ended up being mostly waffles. I had high hopes for this place after hearing my spouse rave about it from work. I've never encountered a burnt sandwich, not even at the cheapest restaurants.

I recently dined at Slim Chickens for the first time, and it was a delightful experience. The chicken fingers and dipping sauces were amazing, and the fries and chicken wings were just as impressive. I'm looking forward to our next visit to try more dishes from the menu. They have better choices than other similar chains!
