Kincho Restaurant Bar - COMO

We stayed at the Sheraton and despite being cautious that we didn't want to spend our entire stay eating at the restaurant in the hotel (where is the fun in that?! we ended up eating twice in one week at Kincho. One was pasta for me and ribs for my husband and once we shared a pizza (washed down with excellent cocktails! . The pizza was the best I had in como (a big ask! and the pasta and ribs were also fantastic. Service is great too, both during the day as a pool bar and as the grill in the evening. It is outdoors though so I highly recommend insect repellant. We got bitten badly!

The food is great and good size portions. If you're looking for something less refined and more casual as the 1 star Michelin restaurant right next to Kincho but still with great food, then this is the place!

We enjoyed an outdoor buffet with barbecue. It was excellent both the buffet food as well as the barbecue....especially the Fiorentina steak... a slice of beaf just with some sea salt .....fantastic taste!!!! The surroundings are beautiful with garden and park....swimming pool ....and montainous views. Also the life band playing nice music made it really complete. Highly recommended.

Expectations for the Sheraton hotel's second restaurant (next to their Michelin star flagship) were well exceeded. Pizzas done in wood fire oven with quality origin ingredients were very tasty. Only downside is the pizza choices were limited. Tried two separate steaks including the tomahawk which were delicious done in a coal oven which meant the crust was particularly delicious. Sides and sauces were a little basic. Setting in the park is very nice on warm days. Staff and manager are all very friendly and helpful. Falls just short of 5 stars due to limited range and uninspired accompaniments but this is really nit picking recommend eating here especially if you stay at the Sheraton.

Very nice place and the Tomahawk was very good. The starters are bit expensive, Service is good but there is way to improve.
