La Tonnelle - Conca

Received super friendly service and a delicious meal upon completion of the GR20. This is the place to stay when visiting Conca!

We had dinner here, but this is also where you can book the “navette”, or local mini bus which takes up to eight passengers at a time into Porto Vecchio and a few other places. It is also where the gite is located, where you can camp, and have a drink! Kind of a one stop shop. Back to dinner: nice setting, with lots of outdoor tables as well as an inside dining room. There are a choice of three or four salads, as well as a pasta pesto for the vegetarians. Quite a few other choices for the omnivores, and a good dessert selection as well. Service was a bit slow but friendly. They could do with some more wait staff, but they did a good job considering how busy they were when we were there. From the end of the GR20, you need to walk into town, past the church, down the hill to get to this place. About 15 minutes walk.

Après une matinée aux 3 piscines, nous avons eu la chance de tomber sur la fin d'étape du GR20. La restauration est très simple mais les plats sont copieux. Nous recommandons les viandes grillées à la plancha accompagnées de légumes ! Le service est très convivial, sans chichi et plein de gentillesse. Merci pour l'accueil !
