Le Bistrot des Sables - Concarneau

When we had reached this restaurant, we got the botanical that the people in these are sharing early and we were grateful to find a table. the service was good after and we have been for the lunch formula of...sardinen both dishes were accompanied by a nasalate and washed with beer and apple wine. the total cost was 45 euro. good value in concarneau today.

We arrived first and were last served. the device is terrible and they do not serve at the same time as drinks. Although it was the first day of pass sanitaire, they still had someone for the drinks and someone for eating and. eating was not as described in the menu! very disappointed when we waited an hour. missing ingredients and descriptions of how to do not see what we hoped to see on our tellers.

That was busy, but not full. the service was best slow and they basically ignored it unless they wanted something. Even the bill was ignored so that we went into the cash to pay. sharing the bill between two of us? no problem, but the basic...arithmetics was missing, so two different bills were presented. the food itself was well and reasonably presented. the cutlery is quite poor and all four of our knives looked like they had been used as a lever on something! the prices are locally acceptable, though not cheap. it is a beautiful location with good parking nearby. very little English spoken and no attempt to even try. please do not go here if you want to have a quick lunch or get something in a hurry. speed is simply not on the menu.!

Daftly thought we might get a table in Concarneau battlements at 1230...big mistake in August on a sunny day... Nonetheless crossed the road and sat down at this place. Steak hache, croque Monsieur and andouillette with mustard sauce all fine and not dear. However, the...bill came in at 50% more than it should have done. My good side puts this down to a genuine till mistake, but the flippant wave of the hand from the patron when I returned to query it, and the distinct and sudden loss of the ability in speaking English from the table staff to explain the error makes me wonder...but like I say, I'll put it down to a genuine error?...otherwise reasonable.

Visited this restaurant whilst sightseeing with family. Situated on esplanade, alongside lots of other restaurants, so decision making was who could accommodate 5 of us for lunch. Good set menu, with a range of plat de jour. Kids menu was decent. Good service, although a...little slow with 3 hungry children to feed!
