The complimentary garlic bread was delicious, but everything else was underwhelming. The stuffed eggplant was burnt and lacked flavor. The spicy pasta with sausage was just okay, nothing special. The tiramisu was decent, but served frozen. My boyfriend enjoyed the lamb skewers as an appetizer and found the gnocchi in sweet tomato sauce to be a safe option. Despite having a reservation, it took us an hour and a half to finish our meal. The server was not very friendly or engaging. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant if you are looking for flavorful food.
My boyfriend and I were excited to have our 3rd year anniversary dinner here as we read great reviews about it. Unfortunately, we were let down. The complimentary garlic bread was good and a nice surprise, but it just went downhill from there. I had the stuffed eggplant which was burnt and tasteless at best. My spicy pasta with sausage was very ok, there was nothing stellar or tasty about it. The tiramisu was pretty good, but still frozen when served to us. My boyfriend had the lamb skewers as an appetizer which he said was good, and he had the gnocchi as his main which was in a sweet tomato sauce, very safe choice but good nonetheless(its hard too mess that up)! It took us an hour and a half to eat, and we were just 2 people with reservations and on time! To top it off, there was only about 2-3 other tables there at the same time as us. The server was not very outgoing or friendly, he just did his job and said as little as possible. Not recommended if you are expecting to eat tasteful food.
This hidden gem of a restaurant is only known through word of mouth, as it cannot be seen from the street. With an open kitchen, patrons can watch the chefs prepare their meals. The food is outstanding, and I frequently bring guests who appreciate authentic Italian cuisine.
Ciao Bella is a restaurant that prepares and serves fabulous food. Tastes are pure and clean. Never overly done, but, always great quality. Maria the owner goes out of her way to please. Where typical restaurants bring sliced bread or panini, she is contantly preparing a fabulous foccaccia that comes piping hot and oh so fresh. But, make sure you don't over indulge to allow yourself to enjoy one of her many starters and mains. From succuclent grilled clamari to rolled p eggplant stuffed with goat cheese and roasted red peppers, to a mushroom risotto beautifully drzzled with truffle oil or a french style veal chop grilled to perfection, no choice is an incorrect one. You just have to keep returning to enjoy the entire menu. Wine selections available to suit every budget. We have used Ciao Bella for a quick dinner getaway, birthday celebrations and even big baptismal celebrations. Do yourself a gastronomic favour and make a reservation!
Ciao Bella Dance Studio provides a warm and inviting ambiance.
