We have enjoy the pizza multiple times a year, but what keeps us going back is the verity of great dishes on the menu, if you want a mom and pop small pizza place this place is for you. Table service has always been quick and convenient. Thanks for the best neighborhood pizza.
This restaurant is quite impressive. We've only visited a few times, and on our most recent trip, we decided to explore some menu options beyond just pizza. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of the pizza, but I can confirm that it’s their standout item. We ordered the supreme, and it was quite tasty—the vegetables and meats were well-cooked together, indicating that the veggies were chopped to the right size. The wings and Alfredo were exactly what you would expect from a takeout pizza place; sometimes, they really hit the spot. As always, I enjoy garlic knots, but I would have appreciated a bit of garlic butter on the side. I can see why this restaurant has been around for a while; the food is consistent, and the prices are reasonable.
I tried Giovanni's gluten-free pizza via Uber Eats some time ago and really enjoyed it. Today, I was in the mood for some pizza, so the hubby and I jumped into the car and headed on over. Upon first glance from the parking lot, it didn't seem like the restaurant had room to dine; however, upon entry seating was located to the left. Before seating yourself, you will need to order your food. I ordered the gluten-free pepperoni personal size pizza. My hubby ordered the goat cheese pizza and added pepperoni. The restaurant is nothing special on the inside, FYI, but girl who took our order was pleasant. It took about 10 minutes before the pizzas were done. I received my order but my hubby's order was wrong. He sent his pizza back and they cooked him the correct pizza and even offered us dessert for the mishap. Both of our pizzas were delicious. We both rated our pizzas a 5/5. We would have gotten dessert if they came back to take our order but they must have forgotten and we really didn't need it. I would have rated them a 5/5, but had to remove a star since they didn't come back to ask us about dessert. Overall, I would definitely recommend Giovanni's. The pizzas are really good.
Have always gone there for great pizza but we will never be back! Terrible attitude from the lady behind the counter so we left.
The signs on the doors and the messages you receive when you pick up orders are off-putting. They don’t want dashers coming into the store until the food is ready, but then, when you receive the notification that it’s ready, they act as if you took too long to arrive. Overall, the vibe is unwelcoming and quite challenging to navigate. It’s hard to understand how a restaurant can operate this way yet manage to alienate both diners and those of us trying to deliver their meals. The food itself is also inconsistent. Sometimes the pizza is perfect, but other times it’s burnt. The lasagna frequently sports charred edges that make it nearly inedible, and most of the ingredients taste like they come from a can. I can't recommend this place, though they seem to stay in business due to the lack of Italian restaurants in the vicinity. It’s seldom busy, which isn’t surprising given the overall experience.
