Parkway House Family - Concord

We walked in, sat down, looked up at the sanitation score, got up, and walked right back out. I've added the photos from their low score. I do not eat anywhere with a score below a 98 this one is a 90. Not only is that gross BUT dangerous as well. Do better. Everyone beware!

The chicken and pork chop we ordered were good. The only side that was good was the mashed potatoes and gravy. The other sides ordered were rice and collard greens, the rice was undercooked and chalky the collards were bland. The service was okay they didn’t know their menu and had to go ask which we appreciated but after we ordered they never came back to check in or refill drinks. I’d probably return maybe it was an off day.

Worse Parkway food is never good apparently a new cook. Went in one time and never got waited on sat for 5 minutes not even a glass of water I left and it was a slow day hardly anyone there. I have done tried eat in and take out. Got turkey a few times each time under cooked. Best Parkway is on WT right past Sharon Amity food is always excellent. Hwy 29 comes in 2nd place.

The food and atmosphere in the evening after 5:00pm is not good. They really need to think about having management to supervise the younger staff in the evening. The food isn’t fresh and they play loud rap music that can be heard loudly un the dining area. They can’t assume that everyone likes the same music. We asked them to turn the music down but, they still left it loud. This was on 6/11/24 at 6:00pm. The waitress was super sweet. If you want a more welcoming atmosphere and a good experience, you should go there before 5:00pm.

This place has really gone down hill. It used to be a great place to eat but the food quality is terrible now and the prices have gone up considerably.
