Danagher's - Conga

We stopped in for a Guiness and a cup of tea on our trek from the castle where we were staying. The locals were wonderfully friendly, We enjoyed some great conversation as we sipped our tea.

Family and I visited for evening dinner and were welcomed with seats outside and water for the dog. Service was very good with young lady looking after us. Food was really good and affordable, with the drinks from the bar spot on. Would recommend and will be back.

This was recommended by the nearby camping. The food was excellent and the guinness fresh. The staff was great. A place to recommend.

Had a great meal on a business trip to Cong. Got to catch up on some work at a table while having the meal. Great atmosphere and had a nice pint there as well. Only problem was it was tempting to stay the night as there was a great buzz at the bar with all sorts having a chat and a beer. Great staff, even observed one of them brushing up on their German having a chat with some tourists. Great spot.

I was very disappointed with the food at this restaurant. I ordered the fish and chips, while my friend had the double burger. The chips tasted frozen, the fish seemed like it was frozen as well, and the pea puree was cold with an overpowering mint flavor. The tartare sauce was bland. My friend also thought her burger was frozen, and the onion rings she ordered seemed to be from a freezer pack. It did not seem like anything was homemade. The table was clean but felt sticky. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience. However, our server was very nice.
