Herrera's Mexican - Conroe

I stole my young grandson for lunch. Tacos are his fave (no salad/tomato) . The staff was super splitting a taco dinner and only brought his meat / cheese. He loves her green sauce. Great service Mexican food, thank you.

This place has been very consistent for as long as it's been open. The food and drinks are very good, and so is the service. I've been here many times over the years and for the first time ever I had an issue with my meal. The server promptly notified the manager without me knowing, who then found out what happened, came over to our table to inform us of what happened, apologized to us and made it right for us. He even sat and talked with us for a bit. You can't get that kind of service just anywhere, so I think that says a lot. If you haven't been here, go!

We had a birthday dinner here recently. The staff was amazing and so accommodating! We brought our own cake in and when dinner was wrapping up they brought it out with candles and sang happy birthday! They also brought a sombrero for the birthday girl. The food was amazing. We all ordered something different so we could taste a little of everything. You guys did amazing! Thanks so much!

We visited Herreras a few weeks back and dined in the restaurant. We had Chicken Enchiladas that had nice stringy chunks of breast chicken. Meal was really good. So on 6/29/22 we decided to order the same meal for takeout. It was absolutely terrible. The pieces of chicken in the Enchilada were little squares of dark colored chicken. When I called in the order the order taker specifically asked if we wanted breast chicken. I said yes because it was so good when we dined in. What we got in the order was awful and didn't look like breast chicken. I called the restaurant to file a complaint and request a refund. They bluntly said no refund and you got what you ordered. No concern expressed by the restaurant staff person! DO NOT EAT THERE! We will never go back there to eat.

The food was very good we love the fajitas and the carnitas and my kids enjoyed your queso dip muy excelente. The two shots of jimador tequila washed down with a dos Equis was a perfect drink while we waited to pick up our food muchos gracias bartender.
