Mama Juanita's - Conroe

I rarely leave comments, but this place really deserves the kudos! My husband, two of our children, and I came in for lunch on Sunday after church . We had never tried Mama Juanita 's but we saw that kids eat free on Sundays so we thought 'why not? ' We are pretty particular about Mexican food, and we were very impressed with the food and the service! Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Our waiter, Najera, was extremely courteous and attentive. My husband and I were so pleased with our experience that we can 't wait to come back! Thank you Mama Juanita 's and Najera for making our day!

Ordered a variety of food. Queso Blanco, green red salsa, stuffed poblanos, tacos, enchalidia, puffy queso chip rice refried beans between us three. All was very good quality fresh food. With a very nice waitress. Will start stopping here when going through town.

Had a great time watching the Astros advance to the world series at the bar. The food was excellent and the top shelf margaritas were more than just top shelf! Atmosphere, staff, and food were definitely second to none. We will be back!

I have been away in Missouri for two years which BTW does not know anything about Mexican food or tex-mex. The moment I sat down and dug into my chips and green sauce I forgot all about the bad Mexican food in St. Louis. You really don’t know what you have until it’s gone… Pun intended!

We LOVE this place. My husband and I are extremely picky about Mexican food. Mama J's is the best. Our chips and salsa never run out and are always fresh, not stale. Drinks never run out. Service is amazing. Their sauces are homemade and authentic. We love all the fresh vegetables in numerous dishes. The meat is always of good quality. Even the teriyaki sauce is out of this world. We can't say enough good things about this restaurant. God willing it never changes!
