Shogun Japanese Grill Sushi - Conroe

Loved sitting at a grill and watching our food cook. Great atmosphere and service. The food was awesome!

Food was great. Service could gave been better but it looked like our server was a Lil inexperienced. So not bad Service at all but not top tier either. I had sushi and my wife had the noodles with beef. Sushi was amazing I highly recommend the spider roll and the shaggy dog was also pretty amazing. The beef in the noodles was cooked perfectly but the noodles were a bit oily. Still recommend. Will most likely be back for my birthday dinner so my kids can try it tooKid-friendliness: Not a kids place unless you have kids with pallets

Family Christmas Eve dinner….13 people. Food was bland, 3 of us ordered steak, 3 of us have food poisoning this morning. 2 orders of chicken were so dry and rubbery they could not be eaten. Told the waitress that kept our drinks filled but no sorry the chicken is so dry you can’t eat it. No could I we replace it with anything. No removal of those chicken meals off the ticket. Will not be going back. Very disappointingUpdated: just spoke with the manager and she was very apologetic and will comp the chicken dinners. Offered some free vouchers which was nice but not quite ready to accept them to go back.

My wife and I were there to celebrate our anniversary and the service was spectacular!!

The greeter, waiters and servers were lovely. The food was abysmal. We ordered sushi. The spicy salmon roll and spicy tuna roll appeared to be purées and looked disgusting. I didn’t even try the spicy salmon roll after tasting the tuna roll. The crab on the shaggy dog tasted like cheap, defrosted surimi. Even the rice was terrible. The wait staff kindly offered to give us the leftovers in a doggy bag, which we graciously declined. Free soda refills.
