Jasper's West Side - CONSHOHOCKEN

Went to Jasper's West for the first time and I would have to say I was very disappointed. I ordered a Patty Melt and the burger was very small, cheese was beyond melted , bread was really disappointing (not what I think of rye) and onions really not very tasty. The order did come with a lot of french fries that were good. My husband had the brussel sprouts, which he said was good and a lot of 1/2 size and the cuban sandwich, which he thought was just ok. The service was good, but food isn't worth the price.

This place really has a high level of attention to detail. I was amazed by the bartenders passion for excellence. I mentioned to Nate, who was bartending, that I wanted a Manhattan. He took the time to smoke the glass and create an amazing experience. Mack, the manager on duty, was extremely accommodating in making sure we got a seat in a place that would be the best experience for us. Lastly, the food was creative and fun but approachable. This will be in my rotation from now on!

Lovely neighborhood gem! Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. I nice menu with something for every taste. We enjoyed several apps and split the scallops entree. All were delicious. Love the rustic decor and booth seating. Will be back!

I brought my wife in for her birthday since we love Jasper 's Backyard and thought we would try West Side. We ordered the Brussel Sprouts for our appetizer. There was so much garlic that wasn 't cooked off that we didn 't even eat them. We mentioned it to our waitress and she just kind of shrugged. For our entrées my wife ordered the 7oz Filet medium rare, and I the Flat Iron Steak medium rare. Our steaks came, mine was rare, and the Filet was blue. I don 't mind rare so I was going to keep the Flat Iron Steak, but once we sent back the Filet we sent both. The waitress returned about three minutes later with our re-fired steaks, which were still extremely rare. We ate around the edges but weren 't really game for eating raw steak. When the bill came there was nothing to acknowledge or address the Sprouts or the Steaks as we were charged full price for everything.

We really enjoyed are dinner there. The menu choices were great, the food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was wonderful. We will be back!
